Great things about being pregnant.

  • Feeling little pumpkin bum move around very gently (I'm 24 weeks).
  • Rubbing my tummy and feeling Baby respond back.
  • Listening to my Hypnobirthing CD and Baby starts jigging around. Baby LOVES the music and almost always starts a little jig inside my tum.
  • Wondering what it will be like when we meet our Baby.
  • Feeling generally relaxed and peaceful.
  • Contemplating that we made a tiny person, who will share our lives forever.
  • Thinking about how we can give Baby a sense of their mixed heritage and raise our baby to feel both British and Japanese, and be proud of it.

Little baby Wasabi has a few cool clothes to try on. Here are a few I picked up. This one was from Hennes. Very cute, I hope it looks Unisex as we don't know our baby's gender.
I thought the owl was gorgeous. And oh so tiny. I love baby clothes shopping. There's so many gorgeous things out there.A lovely jacket from "Babies R Us." I loved the cute bear ears on the top. Our little Kuma Chan or Kun will be snuggled inside in the colder March days.

23 weeks and 6 days pregnant

Today I'm 23 weeks and 6 days pregnant. My husband and I have been in London for the last 9 months, when we realised that a little bundle of love was on the way. We'd moved over from Tokyo, Japan in Jan 2009. My Husband is Japanese and I'm British and we've now been married for 1 year and 5 months.
I can't wait to meet our little baby. Baby is kicking regularly now and getting stronger every week. I think I've had a really good pregnancy so far. I haven't been sick very much and except for feeling very tired and falling asleep at 6pm in the first 10 weeks, everything has gone smoothly. Touch wood everything stays that way.

I can't wait to see Baby for the first time. There are so many things I'm looking forward to......seeing Baby smile........going to the park together.........playing games with Baby........trips to Japan to visit my Husband's family.........choosing a name..........hugging our little edamamae.

We have a few possible names now. Kokoro or Midori for a girl. Noah or Koshi for a boy.
My pregnancy tests. I couldn't believe that I was pregnant, so I took four just to be sure. The Clear Blue Digital test picked up I was pregnant really early.
